(Thursday, December 1, 2011, NY, NY) J Cole and his chart topping, critically acclaimed debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story have garnered a 2012 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

J Cole’s Cole World: The Sideline Story remains the largest album debut from a new artist in 2011 and was the first debut album by a solo artist to chart # 1 in over 18 months. In addition, the release was the biggest digital album debut from a new artist since January 2010.

Currently featured on the cover of RESPECT and YRB magazines, J Cole is on tour in the UK and will perform in Los Angeles for the Power 106 Christmas concert on December 16th.

I cant believe hes come this far. As soon as I heard The Warm Up then Friday Night Lights I knew this kid was going places. And now a grammy? Damn Cole youve done it. You deserve it all man keep it up.
