I'm not trying to be a groupie and what not, but most of Cole's songs inspire me because he speaks about his life and is not trying to follow other rappers ways. He also graduated from college, which is not a norm most rappers acquire. All throughout college I felt blue, away from my family, and my hardships felt like they would not end. But then I started listening to his music and it just kept motivating me. The first J. Cole song I herd was little ghetto n***a, I like how he described the "Lifestyle of the young black and genius", and the line "young n****s emulate what's coming out the speakers, so everything we learn came from rappers, not teachers"

My favorite album is The Warmup, I feel more connected to this mixtape because of the intro. All my life I have double guessed many of my decisions, life is tough but when someone speaks about it, it makes you more connected to others; even if you don't know each other. The line "But do you stand tall and be bold? Or do you fold? Do you believe?" are questions that I keep looking for in my worst hours.

Welcome from the Warm Up, is the song that most motivates me, I play it every day I wake up in the morning, and at work. The song is very lyrical, I don't consider it Rap, it's on another level.
