Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert took place yesterday, which featured some of your favorite artists including J. Cole who performed at the pre-show to a screaming crowd. J. Cole kicked off his set with a freestyle, followed by “Grown Simba”, “Lights Please" and his debut single “Who Dat” as well as his verse from Jay-Z’s “A Star Is Born”. The North Carolina native did a few interviews, signed autographs and took pictures with fans, before hitting the stage with Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek to perform his verse off their “Just Begun” collaboration.
